Dingle, the Helpful Ice Cream Cone Delivery Dog, tells the story of a charming black Labrador Retriever who wants to help his elderly, disabled, and very independent owner, Aunt Reeny, perform usual day-to-day tasks. He creates a new and valuable tool to assist her with one of them—a hot weather-proof ice cream cone carrier. And it works!

This story is all about Dingle but its message is directed to those very many disabled people just like Aunt Reeny (and their caregivers and loved ones) who resist asking for or accepting assistance with performing needed services—like, shopping and transportation. The book's message: Life really can be made just a little more comfortable by accepting help (from young and old people, and dogs, too) who simply want to assist the elderly and disabled with completing day-to-day routines.
